Description

A delicious and moist banana bread made with very ripe bananas.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas until soft and mostly smooth.
  2. Stir in melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs, yogurt, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  4. Whisk the dry ingredients separately, then fold them gently into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake until golden and set.
  6. Cool before slicing for the best texture.
