Description

Delicious smoked mushrooms seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cleaned whole mushrooms (white button or baby portobello)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker to 180°F.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the mushrooms with the seasonings and toss to coat.
  4. Place mushrooms directly on the smoker grates or add a grilling pan and smoke for 30 minutes.
  5. Increase smoker temperature to 475°F; when the smoker reaches 475°F, remove your cooked mushrooms from the grates and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, use a combination of wood chips.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
