Description

A delicious berry smoothie made with Greek yogurt and mixed berries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk (or almond milk or oat milk)
  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves or basil leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces.
  2. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides and adding a bit more milk to get it to blend if necessary.
  3. If desired, garnish with a mint sprig.
  4. Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days.

Notes

  • This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less syrup, honey, or agave syrup.
  • For a thicker smoothie, reduce the amount of milk.
