Description
A delicious berry smoothie made with Greek yogurt and mixed berries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk or oat milk)
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 1 banana (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves or basil leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces.
- Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides and adding a bit more milk to get it to blend if necessary.
- If desired, garnish with a mint sprig.
- Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days.
Notes
- This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less syrup, honey, or agave syrup.
- For a thicker smoothie, reduce the amount of milk.
