Description

A delicious sandwich featuring fresh peaches, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices ciabatta bread (or any crusty bread)
  • 2 medium ripe peaches (sliced)
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella (sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta bread horizontally and lightly toast if desired.
  2. Layer the sliced peaches on the bottom half of the bread.
  3. Add slices of fresh mozzarella on top of the peaches.
  4. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the mozzarella.
  5. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the basil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Top with the other half of the ciabatta bread and press down gently.
  7. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for serving.
