Description
Deliciously toasted cocktail rye bread topped with a creamy Parmesan spread.
Ingredients

- 1 1/3 cup Parmesan, Grated
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Onion, Grated
- 1 dash Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 (1 lb) loaf Cocktail Rye Bread
- to taste Paprika
Instructions
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Beat together grated Parmesan, mayonnaise, grated onion, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread a thin layer over a piece of the bread and place on prepared pan. Repeat until spread is gone.
- Place in the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes, or until spread is golden brown and the bread is toasted.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with paprika.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, try adding some cayenne pepper to the mixture.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
