Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown.
- Remove and cut into sticks.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider serving with fresh fruit or syrup.
- Leftover batter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
