Description

A delicious and festive cheese ball shaped like a football, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese, Slightly Firm
  • 1/3 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 cup Pecans, Chopped
  • 1 piece String Cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together slightly firm cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well mixed and smooth.
  2. Refrigerate for 1 hour to chill.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and put the mixture on it. Gather sides and bunch them up to shape the mixture into a ball.
  4. Add chopped pecans into a clean bowl and roll the cheese ball into them, covering it thoroughly.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate and form into the shape of a football.
  6. Cut string cheese into pieces to form laces and lay on top of the cheese ball.
  7. Serve with crackers, pretzels, and/or veggies.
