A delicious stir-fry featuring tender chicken thighs and fresh cabbage, enhanced with flavorful seasonings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, sliced
- 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and gochujang.
- Add sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the chopped cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly wilted.
- Serve hot over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add some sliced bell peppers or snap peas.
- This dish pairs well with jasmine rice or brown rice.
