Description

Delicious homemade blueberry syrup perfect for pancakes, waffles, or desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) blueberries
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
  • ¾ cup (175ml) water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a pot.
  2. Stir it together, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until the blueberries break down.
  3. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl or jug and pour in the mixture.
  4. Press the blueberries into the strainer to extract as much blueberry syrup as possible.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool, then pour into a sanitized jar or bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • This syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
