Description

Delicious grasshopper cookies topped with chocolate and festive sprinkles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Grasshopper cookies
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 10 ounces melting milk chocolate
  • 24 Wilton holly melody sprinkles
  • 24 mini red M&M

Instructions

  1. Melt the milk chocolate wafers in the microwave according to the package directions.
  2. Place 24 grasshopper cookies onto the cookie sheet.
  3. Dip 3/4 of the marshmallows into the chocolate and lightly shake the excess chocolate off and let it harden.
  4. Spoon a little dollop of chocolate into the middle of the cookie and place the marshmallow onto the chocolate. Repeat steps with remaining chocolate.
  5. Spoon the rest of the chocolate into the piping bag. Using the chocolate as a glue, pipe on a dot onto the back of the red M&M. Place the M&M onto the middle of the white part of the marshmallow.
  6. Pipe on a small dollop onto the back of the holly sprinkles and place a holly leaf on both sides of the M&M.
  7. Repeat with remaining cookies and marshmallows.
  8. Once done, let sit to harden for about 20-30 minutes.

Notes

  • For best results, let the chocolate cool slightly before dipping marshmallows.
  • Store in a cool place to maintain chocolate firmness.
