Description

A delicious seafood lasagna made with lobster, shrimp, and a creamy béchamel sauce.


Ingredients

  • 912 sheets Lasagna noodles (cooked al dente)
  • 1 cup Lobster meat, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Béchamel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (basil or parsley for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until just turned opaque. Season with salt and pepper and mix in the fresh spinach until wilted. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. If making béchamel from scratch, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, cooking for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add milk while stirring until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  5. In a greased baking dish, start with a layer of béchamel sauce. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the seafood mixture, a layer of ricotta cheese, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of béchamel sauce on top.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
