Description

A delicious appetizer featuring tender beef carpaccio served on toasted dinner rolls with a homemade garlic aioli.

  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper (Adjust to your liking.)
  • 8 oz Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio (Thinly sliced.)
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Black Sea Salt (For garnishing.)
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes (Halved.)
  • 4 sprigs Rosemary (For garnish.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  2. Slice the dinner rolls into triangles, about 1 inch thick.
  3. Blend together the whole egg and egg yolk in a blender until fluffy.
  4. Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil slowly while the blender is running on high.
  5. Add the garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the blender and blend until smooth.
  6. Spread a generous dollop of garlic aioli on each toasted triangle.
  7. Top each crostini with a slice of beef carpaccio, sprinkle with coarse black sea salt, and garnish with a halved grape tomato and rosemary sprig.
  8. Serve immediately while the crostinis are still warm and crispy.
