Description

This cheesy hashbrown casserole is a comforting side dish that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 1 (10-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix hashbrowns, soup, sour cream, melted butter, onion, salt, pepper, and half the cheese.
  3. Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes
