Description

A delicious creamy pasta dish featuring grilled chicken and a rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes to taste.
  4. Combine the Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is completely coated with the sauce.
  5. Serve: Plate the pasta and evenly distribute the grilled chicken strips on top. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and herbs before grilling.
  • Make sure not to overcook the pasta; it should have a firm bite.
  • You can add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for more nutrition.
  • Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more cream or some pasta water if needed.
