Ingredients

- 10 cups bread cubes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet drizzle with olive oil and bake at 375°F for 12 minutes until dry and lightly golden.
- Sauté celery and onion in olive oil for 6 minutes until soft then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Combine bread, vegetables, herbs, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix gently.
- Gradually pour in warm broth stirring until evenly moist but not soggy.
- Bake in a greased dish at 375°F covered for 20 minutes then uncover for 10 minutes until lightly crisp.
Notes
- Adjust seasonings to taste for a personalized flavor.
- This stuffing can be made ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
