- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- White chocolate for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the flour, stirring vigorously until the mixture pulls away from the sides and forms a ball.
- Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Pipe or spoon small mounds onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Let cool.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water.
- Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- Heat the cream in a saucepan until simmering.
- Pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
- Whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fill the cooled profiteroles with the cream using a piping bag.
- Place the chocolate cake on a serving plate.
- Spread a layer of chocolate ganache over the cake.
- Arrange the profiteroles on top.
- Drizzle with white chocolate for decoration, if desired.

- Ensure profiteroles are completely cool before filling to prevent the cream from melting.
- The boiling water in the cake batter ensures a moist cake.
- Prepare the components in advance for easier assembly.
