Description

Delicious skillet potatoes seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound yellow or red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or 2 tablespoons olive oil, for vegan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes.
  2. Cut them into thin slices, about 1/4” inch thick.
  3. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the potatoes and cook them for 10 to 12 minutes until browned, flipping occasionally until all sides are browned.
  5. Sprinkle with seasoning and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use only olive oil instead of butter.
