- 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 2 tablespoons oats (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (to taste)
- Honey or maple syrup (to taste, optional)
Instructions
- Begin by adding 1 cup of almond milk to your blender.
- Slice the ripe banana and add it to the blender, followed by the peanut butter.
- Pour in the scoop of chocolate protein powder.
- If you’re using oats and cocoa powder, include those next.
- Add in the vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- For a thicker consistency, toss in a few ice cubes, adjusting to your preference.
- Secure the blender lid and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
- After blending, taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if extra sweetness is desired. Blend again briefly to incorporate any added sweetener.
