Description
Delicious and creamy Biscoff parfait layered with mascarpone and caramel sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g Biscoff cookies
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 200ml heavy cream
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 150ml caramel sauce
- 50g butter (melted)
- whipped cream (for topping)
- extra Biscoff cookies (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cookie Crumble: Crush the Biscoff cookies in a food processor or place them in a zip-lock bag and crush with a rolling pin. Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter until well combined.
- Make the Cream Layer: In a large mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to whip until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
- Layer the Parfait: In a serving glass or jar, start with a layer of cookie crumble at the bottom. Add a layer of the cream mixture, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce. Repeat the layers until the glass is almost full. Ensure the top layer is cookie crumble.
- Finish with Toppings: Top with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel sauce. Garnish with extra Biscoff cookies, either whole or crushed.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, chill the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
- You can substitute mascarpone with cream cheese for a slightly tangier taste.
- Adjust the quantity of sugar in the cream layer to your preference.
- If the caramel sauce is too thick, warm it slightly to achieve a pourable consistency.
