Delicious and decorative cheese ball ornaments perfect for parties.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow bell pepper
- 1/4 cup black sesame seeds
- Pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces for ornament hangers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the cheese mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
- While the cheese mixture is chilling, prepare the ornament decorations. Place the chopped parsley, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and black sesame seeds in separate shallow dishes.
- Remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
- Roll each cheese ball in one of the ornament decorations, pressing gently to adhere.
- Insert a small piece of pretzel stick into the top of each cheese ball to create an ornament hanger.
- Arrange the cheese ball ornaments on a serving platter.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- These cheese balls can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
